Volvo Penta Engine Warranty Policy

Volvo Penta warranty content overview

Warranty refers to malfunctions caused by manufacturing defects or product defects in the products provided by Volvo Penta. You will be able to obtain free repair or replacement from Volvo Penta's authorized service provider for this fault.

◆ Volvo Penta product failure warranty process: when the user finds that the machine has a failure

1) During the warranty period: The Volvo Penta office should be guaranteed first. Volvo Penta service engineers will arrange for local agents to follow the quality assurance procedures.

2) Outside the warranty period: Users directly contact the local Volvo Penta service agent for paid repair.

Basic conditions for Volvo Penta warranty

The engine is still under warranty.

◆ Users check and use Volvo Penta original accessories.

◆ The cause of the fault is indeed caused by product quality problems.

◆ The user did not disassemble and assemble the device without permission before reporting the repair.

◆ The user does not go to the service station that is not authorized by Volvo Penta to carry out repair and maintenance activities.

◆ According to Volvo Penta's simple maintenance rules, Volvo Penta authorized service agents maintain regular maintenance services (authorized service stations must make maintenance records in the repair manual, otherwise they are considered invalid).

◆ If you lose any of the above items, you will lose the basic conditions of the warranty, and the resulting consequences shall be borne by the person responsible.

User's responsibility

◆ Keep the warranty card and related materials properly.

◆ Use and maintain the engine according to Volvo Penta requirements.

◆ Supervise and assist the maintenance work of Volvo Penta service agents, and give signature confirmation after completion.

◆ Maintenance records should be made in daily use, which is the basic condition for deciding whether to be able to report repairs when the engine fails to repair. And, the record should be handed over to the next user.

◆ When any defects are found during use, report to Volvo Penta dealer or service agent in time.
